Larry Shughart's Lego Layout - On Tours for 2020 National Convention

Larry has been collecting Legos since 1968. There are Legos on the tables from every year since 1968.
There are over 50 buildings. The vast majority of them are custom designed and/or modified lego sets.

The layout can run 2 trains plus the Monorail plus chamber 2 more trains on side tracks.

The elevated Airport Shuttle cruises past the center of town

This scene uses a custom blend of 2 Lego castle kits, a Harry Potter castle kit and additional items

The yellow castle is actually 2 castle sets combined with 20 boxes of extra yellow bricks.
There are over 5,000 bricks in the yellow castle. It was patterned from memory based on a
Lego Store Display that was in his local Woolworth's back around 1972 or so.
He most recently added the Hogwarts Castle sets and re-arranged this area of the display.

There are some rare and discontinued Lego building kits in this scene.
The marching band is always a hit with visitors.

Here you can see two Lego trains on the tracks - freight and passenger consists.
The elevated tracks provide express service between this community and the airport.

The train runs past the busy harbor scene.
You can also see the airport on a plateau in the distance.

A variety of Lego aircraft work at the busy airport which serves
to connect the elevated Airport Shuttle with distance cities.

The bustling downtown area supports automobile traffic as well as
train tracks. Some of these Lego buildings are very hard to find.
