Membership in the Southern Division has many benefits. These include our Southern Division meetings, held 5 times each year around the state of Florida, where members can buy, sell or trade trains, or just enjoy the camaraderie of fellow members. Southern Division members also receive "The Layout", arguably the most outstanding newsletter of all the Train Collectors Association divisions and chapters. Each issue is full of articles, news and pictures of Southern Division events.

 Since the Southern Division is, in fact, a part of the national Train Collectors Association (TCA), members of Southern Division must also be members in good standing of the national TCA. Benefits of joining the national TCA include The Train Collectors Quarterly and National Headquarters News, published 4 times each year. These publications provide TCA news, articles and notices of events around the country, as well as an up-to-date national TCA member list. Further, national TCA members can attend the private, members-only toy train meets conducted twice annually at the York, PA Fairgrounds. These are far and away the largest train meets in the world. Only TCA members and their guests are permitted to attend.

 On this web page is a link to membership forms for both the Train Collectors Association and the Southern Division, as well as instructions for their completion. Note that TCA membership requires signatures by TCA members in good standing to sponsor new candidates. If you need signatures, contact any of the Southern Division officers who’ll be happy to refer you to TCA Southern Division members in your area.

 I encourage you to download the forms and instructions, complete and sign them, obtain two sponsor signatures, and mail the forms to the indicated addresses with the appropriate checks.
